UNESCO approves a 6-year partnership with Mawhiba Foundation for creativity

Riyadh, October 31, 2023, The UNESCO Executive Board has granted approval for a substantial six-year partnership with the King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity, commonly known as Mawhiba. The primary objective of this collaboration is to bolster cooperative efforts in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).


Dr. Amal Al-Hazzaa, the Secretary General of Mawhiba, expressed that this partnership signifies the foundation's preeminent role in the identification and empowerment of STEM talents at local, regional, and global levels. She emphasized Mawhiba's commitment to nurturing an empowered and innovative generation, one capable of effecting substantial change on the global stage.
