University of Aden Launches SDRPY-Supported Forensic Evidence Training Course


For the purpose of enhancing capabilities in the sector, the Faculty of Law at the University of Aden has initiated a training course on the technique of forensic evidence.


The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) financial assistance package includes the training course as one of its components.


The goal of the SDRPY is to provide aid to the Yemeni people by putting into action 229 projects and development initiatives that will be implemented throughout a variety of sectors in Yemen.



The thirty-first of May, 2024, in Aden A thorough training course on the methodology of forensic evidence has been started by the Faculty of Law at the University of Aden. The purpose of this particular training course is to increase capabilities in the field of forensic evidence, with the end objective of contributing to improved results and benefits. As part of an aid package, the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) was initiated by the University of Aden in the month of March. This training, which will be offered from the 28th of May until the 11th of June, is included in the SDRPY support package. A total of 28 laboratories will be established as a result of this effort, and one of those laboratories will be the forensic laboratory that is situated within the Faculty of Law.


Training opportunities provided by SDRPY include a total of six distinct forensic evidence courses, each of which includes both didactic and practical components. The participants will have the opportunity to delve thoroughly into the role that contemporary technology plays in directing and assisting forensic investigations over the entirety of the course. The Yemen Development and Reconstruction Project (SDRPY) is now working to implement 229 projects and development initiatives across a number of governorates in Yemen. In order to provide aid to the Yemeni people, we want to provide assistance in eight vital areas: education, health, water, electricity, transportation, agriculture and fisheries, infrastructure development, support for the Yemeni government, and development initiatives.
