The Royal Institute of Traditional Arts, in collaboration with the Korea National University of the Arts and the Theater and Performing Arts Commission, proudly presents the groundbreaking Saudi-Korean Culture show. Taking place from November 26 to 28, 2023, at the esteemed Princess Noura University Theater's Red Hall in Riyadh, this event marks an unprecedented cultural milestone in the Kingdom.
The Confluence of Culture Show, organized by the institute, promises an extraordinary artistic experience. Each year, the show hosts a different country, showcasing their shared arts and seamlessly integrating them through a unique theatrical performance accompanied by an enthralling art exhibition.
The show commences with the captivating tale of Saudi and Korean performers coming together, followed by mesmerizing presentations of five Saudi performing arts and five Korean performing arts, providing profound insights into both cultures.
The grand finale features a remarkable performance art piece combining the melodic essence of both Saudi and Korean cultures. The stage will come alive with the talents of 50 performers from the Royal Institute of Traditional Arts and the Performance Arts School at the Korea National University of Arts.
The Saudi segment of the show beautifully reflects the Kingdom's cultural diversity, featuring traditional arts such as Al-Samri, Al-Daha, Al-Liwa, Al-Khatwa, and Al-Khabiti, each representing a unique facet of Saudi heritage.
