In a momentous celebration, the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Uzbekistan took center stage as they bestowed a total of 12 prestigious awards, recognizing exceptional accomplishments spanning three decades. In a remarkable display of skill and talent, three judoka emerged as the recipients of prestigious nominations out of a total of twelve. Armen Bagdasarov, Rishod Sobirov, and Abdullo Tangriev have been recognized for their exceptional contributions to the world of judo. In a recent statement, Armen Bagdasarov, a prominent figure, emphasized the significance of a momentous occasion: the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Uzbekistan National Olympic Committee (NOC). Receiving this award is an immense honor and a source of great pleasure. In a moment of great pride, two additional judoka, who happen to be my very own students, were bestowed with well-deserved accolades today.
The Uzbekistan Judo Federation has emerged triumphant, securing three prestigious awards. As an ardent supporter, I am filled with immense joy and pride in this remarkable achievement. Rishod Sobirov, the esteemed athlete, has achieved a remarkable feat by securing the title of the athlete with the highest number of Olympic medals. Rishod had the honor of receiving his prize from none other than the esteemed Vice President of the OCA. In attendance were His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Saud, a prominent member of the International Olympic Committee, Mr. Olivier Luis Niamkey, and the esteemed Vice President of the Uzbekistan National Olympic Committee, Mr. Aziz Kamilov. Rishod Sobirov, the esteemed athlete, has achieved a remarkable feat by securing the title for the athlete with the highest number of Olympic medals.

Dr. Thani Abdulrahman Al Kuwari, Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia, delivered the presentation. In a recent statement, Mr. Kamilov, a prominent figure in the sports community, highlighted the significance of the awards, emphasizing the immense popularity of Judo in Uzbekistan.
