Madinah, the 19th of June, 2024. The Diafat Al Madinah Association provided over one and a half million field services to pilgrims and tourists at various prominent Hajj venues this year. The organization reported that the job required 720 volunteer hours from the start of the Hajj season until the seventh day of Dhul-Hijjah. The organization is gearing up to provide services to tourists visiting Madinah after the Hajj season. Volunteers delivered 176,610 meals and 1.80 million bottles of water as part of the Soqia (water distribution) program for pilgrims and visitors traveling via dispatch centers. The organization claims that the volunteer activities included the distribution of more than 10,000 umbrellas to pilgrims and guests at service stations, as well as the provision of clothing to 260 pilgrims through the "Kiswa" program. In addition to the 674 pilgrims who received services through th"Al-Mosanda" carried out initiatives to aid the elderly and those with disabilities, benefiting a total of 29,500 pilgrims in addition to the 674 pilgrims who received services through the "Diwaniyah Diafa" (hospitality) program. provide services in coordination and partnership with the relevant authorities. These services encompass the reception of pilgrims at arrival ports and pick-up centers, along with a range of care services such as meal distribution, guidance work, hospitality programs, welcoming pilgrims and visitors upon arrival, bidding them farewell upon departure, and ensuring their welfare.
