Makkah, February 1, 2025 — The third group of guests for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Umrah and Visit, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, had the honor of visiting two of Makkah’s most iconic cultural landmarks on their journey. On January 31, 2025, the group toured the King Abdulaziz Complex for the Holy Kaaba Kiswa, a key site dedicated to the creation of the Kaaba’s sacred covering, the Kiswa. The guests were provided with an in-depth briefing on the meticulous production process of the Kiswa, which is crafted with intricate detail and care. They learned about the raw materials used, including silk and gold threads, and witnessed firsthand the stages of production that ensure the Kaaba remains enveloped in its holy covering.
Following their visit to the complex, the group made their way to the Revelation Exhibition at the Hira Cultural District in Makkah. Here, they were able to delve deeper into the profound historical narrative of the Quran's revelation. The exhibition offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore the history, significance, and profound spiritual impact of the Quran’s descent, further enriching their spiritual journey and deepening their connection to the sacred heritage of Islam.
