This collaboration has paved the way for the launch of the highly anticipated Volkswagen Cup, an exciting tournament strategically crafted to support grassroots football in the United Arab Emirates, specifically tailored for young players and families.

Gulf United FC, recently elevated to the first division league, stands out as the UAE’s trailblazing team to achieve consecutive promotions and league titles. Beyond its on-field achievements, the club is deeply committed to nurturing the upcoming generation of football talent through its dedicated academy, residential programs, and scholarship initiatives.

Recognized for its unwavering dedication to player development, Gulf United FC has collaborated closely with Volkswagen Middle East to conceptualize a lively competition catering to aspiring footballers of both genders, aged 4-12 years old. Scheduled to take place at Kings School Al Barsha on March 8, 2024, the inaugural event is set to host 32 teams in an exciting showcase of youthful talent.
