WAMY highlights Arabic language's role in cultural exchanges on World Arabic Language Day

Riyadh, December 18, 2023, On the occasion of World Arabic Language Day, observed on December 18 every year, the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) emphasized the pivotal role of the Arabic language in promoting cultural exchanges and fostering understanding between people.

WAMY commended the efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to promote and preserve the Arabic language. These efforts include teaching Arabic to thousands of international students at Saudi universities, implementing various programs and initiatives to spread the Arabic language in many countries, and encouraging the use of Arabic in international seminars, forums, and conferences. The Kingdom's commitment to the Arabic language contributes to preserving the cultural and linguistic heritage of the Arab world and facilitates communication among Arabic-speaking communities and beyond.
