The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) office has initiated an educational program catered to non-native Arabic speakers in the Kanchanaburi-Bangkok area. The program, targeting 120 male and female students from the Islamic League Institute, as well as businessmen and language enthusiasts, aims to provide comprehensive Arabic language education.
Abdul Rashid Wali, Director of WAMY's office in Thailand, highlighted that the two-day program features a well-structured curriculum. It begins by laying the foundations of the linguistic alphabet for beginners and progresses to an advanced level, covering conversation, linguistic skills, grammar, and dialogue training.
The overarching goal of the linguistic initiative is to furnish non-native speakers with proficient Arabic language skills, enabling effective communication in both written and spoken forms. Additionally, it seeks to encourage the study and research of the language, facilitating a deeper understanding of the verses in the Holy Quran and the Prophet's Hadith.
Expressing gratitude for Saudi Arabia's consistent support, Wali emphasized the significance of Arabic as the language of religion, history, and civilization. Recognized as one of the six official languages of the United Nations, Arabic plays a vital role in fostering cultural communication among diverse communities.
