Riyadh, December 11, 2024 – The roaming performances at the 16th Conference of the Parties (COP16) to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) have become one of the standout attractions at the Green Zone, captivating attendees with their dynamic and diverse cultural displays. With the participation of 14 countries and over 150 Saudi and international folkloric performances, COP16 has transformed the Green Zone into a vibrant hub of energy and creativity. These performances offer an immersive cultural experience, with daily shows scheduled throughout the conference. Each of the 13 unique performances, lasting 15 minutes each, offers an opportunity to explore the folklore, music, dance, and traditional arts of the countries involved. This initiative is a powerful expression of cultural exchange, as more than 245 professional performers from across the world take part in showcasing their artistic talents.
