Riyadh, May 10, 2024: More moderate to heavy thunderstorms are predicted by the National Center for Meteorology, along with dust-kicking winds and hail showers that will cause torrential rains in Najran, Asir, Jazan, and Al-Baha, as well as in the eastern regions of Makkah and Madinah, which will also extend to Hail, Qassim, and the western regions of Riyadh.
In the northern and central regions of the Red Sea, winds will be westerly to northwesterly at 10–30 km/h, and in the southern regions, they will be southwesterly to westerly at 15–35 km/h. In the northern and central regions, waves may be between half a meter and one meter, and when rainy thunderclouds are present, they may be between half a meter and one and a half meters to two meters in the Kingdom's southern regions.
In the north and center, the sea is probably going to be rough to calm. Over the Arabian Gulf, winds are predicted to vary in direction from northwesterly to northerly, with northern winds reaching 20–40 km/h and southern winds reaching 25–50 km/h. In the northern regions, waves can be as high as one meter, while in the southern regions, they can be as high as one and a half meters. The sea will probably be choppy to relatively calm.
