Riyadh, May 12, 2024, According to the National Center for Meteorology, strong winds will blow and moderate to heavy rain and hail may fall over parts of Najran, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah.
Moderate rain may fall in parts of Madinah, Hail, Qassim, Riyadh, and the Eastern Region.
Dust-stirring winds will blow in parts of the Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, and Tabuk.
Winds over the Red Sea will be northerly to northwesterly, at speeds of 15-40 km/h in the northern parts, northwesterly to southwesterly, at 12-32 km/h in the central parts, and southwesterly to southeasterly, at 15-50 km/h in the southern parts. Waves may reach from half a meter to more than two meters; the sea will be calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be southwesterly to southeasterly, reaching 15-35 km/h in the northern parts, northeasterly to southeasterly, at 10-30 km/h in the central parts, and easterly to northeasterly, reaching 10-25 km/h in the southern parts. Waves may range from half a meter to one and a half meters; the sea will be relatively calm.
