On September 15, 2024, the National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather update indicating that dust-stirring winds are expected, along with the possibility of rain and hail in several regions, including Najran, Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, and Madinah. The Red Sea will experience westerly to northwesterly winds ranging from 18 to 48 km/h, with wave heights potentially reaching between half a meter and two meters, making the sea conditions vary from calm to choppy. In contrast, the Arabian Gulf will see westerly to northwesterly winds at speeds of 10 to 32 km/h, with wave heights expected to be between half a meter and one meter, resulting in generally calm sea conditions.
