United Nations, October 25, Due to a lack of security assurances, the World Health Organization (WHO) claimed it is still unable to supply fuel and vital medical supplies to the major hospitals in northern Gaza. Thousands of vulnerable patients will be in higher danger of passing away or developing medical issues, the UN health agency warned, unless Gaza receives urgent shipments of essential fuel and other medical supplies. According to the WHO, hospitals have had to shut down essential services because of a lack of power.
In order to safely distribute fuel and medical supplies throughout the Gaza Strip, WHO has appealed for a quick humanitarian ceasefire.
