Seoul, March 30, 2025, Wildfires flared up again on Saturday in the South Korean city of Andong.

A Korea Forest Service official stated in a press briefing that authorities deployed eight helicopters to contain the fires, with additional aircraft set to join the efforts.

The death toll from last weekend’s wildfires has risen to 29, with 40 others injured, including 10 in critical condition.
