The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched its seventh relief flight from King Khalid International Airport to Damascus International Airport, carrying food, shelter, and medical supplies to support Syrians in need.

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, January 8, 2025 – In a continued display of Saudi Arabia's commitment to humanitarian aid, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched its seventh relief flight from King Khalid International Airport to Damascus International Airport today. This mission is part of the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to provide much-needed assistance to the people of Syria, who continue to endure the severe humanitarian impacts of the ongoing crisis.

The relief plane, carrying essential food, shelter, and medical supplies, is set to alleviate the suffering of those affected by the conflict in Syria. The aid shipment includes vital resources to address the urgent needs of displaced families and individuals who face increasingly dire living conditions in the region. Food supplies will help nourish the vulnerable, while shelter materials aim to provide temporary housing to those who have lost their homes. In addition, the shipment includes medical provisions, ensuring that healthcare services can continue for the most at-risk populations.

Through its humanitarian programs, KSrelief has been a consistent source of relief to those suffering from conflict, natural disasters, and other crises around the world. The Kingdom’s rapid response to the Syrian crisis, along with its ongoing support, reflects its role as a key player in the global humanitarian landscape.

Since its inception, KSrelief has facilitated a wide range of initiatives aimed at providing emergency relief, improving living conditions, and fostering long-term development in crisis-affected areas. With today’s flight, Saudi Arabia demonstrates once again its dedication to providing life-saving assistance and humanitarian aid, reaffirming its position as a global leader in offering support to those in dire need.
