Wofoud Al-Haram Presents the American Muslim Delegation to the Historic Sites of Makkah

The Wofoud Al-Haram Association in Makkah hosted a group of Muslims from the United States as part of its "Wofoud" program, offering a unique cultural and religious experience during their Umrah visit.

Makkah, January 10, 2025 – The Wofoud Al-Haram Association in Makkah has warmly hosted a distinguished group of Muslims from the United States, offering them a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich cultural and religious heritage of the holy city. The visit was part of the association's ongoing "Wofoud" (delegations) program, a key initiative designed to enhance the experiences of guests visiting Saudi Arabia for Umrah.

This program, developed in collaboration with the General Authority for the Care of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, provides a comprehensive suite of activities aimed at not only meeting the spiritual needs of visitors but also enriching their understanding of the deep-rooted history and significance of Islam in Makkah. The association curated a packed schedule for the visiting group, featuring guided tours of the Grand Mosque, the holiest site in Islam, as well as a visit to several key historical landmarks throughout the city that hold cultural and religious significance.

In addition to the tours, the association organized a series of cultural meetings, educational lessons, and qualification courses for the group. These sessions were designed to help attendees deepen their religious knowledge, as well as foster greater cultural understanding. A notable highlight of the visit was the connection to the Al-Maqraa project, a global initiative aimed at teaching the Quran to Muslims around the world from the two holiest mosques, providing guests with an enriching spiritual experience.

Through these carefully crafted programs, the Wofoud Al-Haram Association continues its mission to foster deeper connections with Saudi Arabia's guests, sharing the nation’s spiritual and cultural heritage. The initiative strengthens the bonds of friendship between Muslims worldwide while providing a platform for mutual learning, all while ensuring that guests experience the best of what Makkah has to offer.
