Women Development Organization Holds Meeting with Ambassadors of OIC Member States


On September 18, 2024, the Women Development Organization (WDO) held a meeting with ambassadors and representatives from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states accredited to Saudi Arabia. During this meeting, the WDO showcased its strategic programs designed to enhance the role of women in society and stressed the necessity of ongoing collaboration with member states for the success of its future initiatives.



In her remarks, Dr. Afnan Al-Shuaiby, the Executive Director of the WDO, issued an official invitation to countries that have yet to join the organization. She reiterated the WDO's dedication to partnering with member states to develop and implement innovative and sustainable policies that encourage women's active participation in all sectors and foster sustainable development. Additionally, Dr. Al-Shuaiby expressed her appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s continuous and significant support of the WDO’s mission, highlighting its essential role in promoting women's development and empowerment.
