World Defense Show 2024 begins, sponsored by King Salman

Riyadh, Feb 04, 2024, Commencing today under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the World Defense Show 2024 is set to run until Thursday. A noteworthy participant in the event is the Ministry of National Guard, showcasing its remarkable accomplishments in localizing present and future security and military capabilities.

The ministry's pavilion at the show serves as a platform for knowledge transfer initiatives, aligning with the latest advancements to enhance the value of industrial investments in the defense sector. It fosters opportunities for collaborative partnerships between the ministry and both local and international manufacturers of military equipment.

Moreover, the pavilion will spotlight cutting-edge technologies in communications, offering a demonstration of prominent armament systems and their latest developments through interactive screens. This strategic presentation aims to highlight the ministry's commitment to staying abreast of technological progress.

Themed "Equipped for Tomorrow," the second edition of the World Defense Show 2024 explores the future of the defense industry. It presents the latest global technological advancements across various defense sectors, encompassing land, sea, air, space, and security.

Organized by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), the exhibition is anticipated to host over 750 exhibitors and representatives from 45 countries, providing a comprehensive platform for the exchange of ideas and innovations in the realm of defense.
