The International Women in Defense Program, spearheaded by Ambassador Reema Bandar Al-Saud, sheds light on the indispensable role of women in the defense industry. Ambassador Al-Saud emphasized the program's significance in engaging, empowering, and advancing women within the defense sector, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. Heidi Grant, Vice President of Defense Global Growth & Engagement at Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), joined national diversity champions and industry leaders, including Maj Gen Adel Al-Balawi, Head of Armed Forces Education and Training Authority, KSA, in championing diversity and inclusion.
Amanda Stainer, Chief Commercial Officer at World Defense Show, underscored the practical importance of the International Women in Defense Program in shaping a more inclusive future for the defense sector. The Future Talent Program, sponsored by BAE Systems and General Dynamics, aims to inspire and educate the next generation of defense professionals. In line with the Human Capital Strategy for Military Industries (MIHC), the program is set to host over 8,000 students, offering them unique opportunities for learning and development.
