MAKKAH, March 29, 2025 — The Clock Towers Center in Makkah now hosts the world’s largest barbershop, designed and operated to international standards to provide a fast and efficient grooming experience for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance the central barbershop zone, improving service quality in the area surrounding the Grand Mosque.

With 170 chairs, the barbershop can accommodate over 15,000 pilgrims daily during its initial phase, ensuring each service is completed in approximately three minutes.

The operation’s high capacity and efficiency highlight its exceptional service standards and rapid execution.

This development aligns with ongoing efforts to enhance services for visitors to the holy city, integrating with major projects such as the Masar project, Jabal Omar, and Thakher Makkah to strengthen Makkah’s overall infrastructure and readiness.
