MAKKAH, March 31, 2025 — In an atmosphere filled with faith, joy, security, and peace, thousands of worshippers gathered at the Grand Mosque in Makkah on Sunday morning to perform the Eid Al-Fitr prayer, marking the end of Ramadan.

Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, Imam of the Grand Mosque, led the prayer and delivered a sermon in which he offered sincere congratulations to the Muslim world on the joyous occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.

In Madinah, worshippers also filled the Prophet's Mosque in a similarly peaceful and spiritual environment. Madinah Emir Prince Salman bin Sultan was among the attendees.

The Eid prayer at the Prophet’s Mosque was led by Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al-Buaijan, Imam of the mosque, who delivered a sermon emphasizing the values of compassion, unity, and gratitude that define the celebration.

The scenes in both holy cities highlighted the deep spiritual significance of the day and showcased the Kingdom's efforts to ensure a safe and seamless experience for worshippers.
