On the 10th night of the 2024 International Falcon Breeders Auction, organized by the Saudi Falcons Club, Yas Falcons, a renowned British breeder farm, showcased four exceptional falcons. The auction, held at the club’s headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, is a highlight of the falconry calendar, attracting leading breeding farms from 19 countries. The event, which continues through Saturday, represents a major convergence of falconers, breeders, and enthusiasts from around the globe.


The night’s proceedings were marked by a series of impressive sales. The auction commenced with the sale of a Gyr Taab chick, which was sold for SAR 40,000. This was followed by another Gyr Taab chick, which achieved a higher price of SAR 53,000. The evening progressed with the auctioning of a Gyrr Shaheen chick, which fetched SAR 76,000. The final falcon of the night, a Gyr Shaheen chick, began with a starting bid of SAR 40,000 and concluded at a remarkable SAR 80,000.


The total value of the four falcons sold reached SAR 249,000, reflecting the high level of interest and the competitive nature of the auction.
