Zadoi County, Qinghai Province, China, shaken by 5.3-magnitude earthquake - Xinhua

Beijing, March 05, 2024, Zadoi County in northwest China's Qinghai Province experienced a 5.3-magnitude earthquake at 10:07 am on Tuesday, as reported by Xinhua citing the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC). The earthquake's epicenter was monitored at a depth of 10 km, specifically at 33.52 degrees north latitude and 93.01 degrees east longitude, according to the CENC.

As of now, there have been no reported casualties, and authorities have stated that no significant tremors were felt in the urban areas of Zadoi County. Earthquake monitoring agencies and local authorities will continue to assess the situation and provide updates as needed to ensure the safety of the affected areas.
