In order to provide its enterprise customers with cutting-edge cloud services and intelligent solutions powered by Zain KSA's 5G network and AWS through its secure, high-performance cloud platforms, Zain KSA and AWS have entered into a strategic cooperation agreement. AWS is the world's most comprehensive and widely used cloud service provider. An important step in the deployment of cloud-native infrastructure for enterprise clients throughout the Kingdom has been reached with the completion of a 5G private network trial by Zain KSA and AWS.
The news was released as part of Zain KSA's participation in LEAP2023, the second iteration of the international technology event held from February 6 to 9 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Convention Center with the theme "Into New Worlds."
Through this alliance, Zain KSA will have access to the strength of AWS' cloud-native infrastructure to create new products and services that will support the deployment of new business applications while enhancing the performance and security of the 5G network.
In a statement regarding the partnership, Eng. The Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones (SAFCSP) and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) are the event's organizers, and Zain KSA is participating in LEAP for the second year in a row under the theme "Tech for Sustainability. Additionally, Zain KSA is still dedicated to advancing new ICT initiatives in Saudi Arabia and local content.
