Zain KSA and Ministry of Human Resources sign MoU for 50,000 Saudi education

In order to teach 50,000 Saudi men and women over the course of the following three years, Zain KSA and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration is a crucial component of the national "Wad" initiative, which aims to encourage private sector training. In support of Saudi Vision 2030's objectives to accomplish national digital transformation through diversifying the economy, fostering human potential, and improving quality of life, the MoU emphasizes Zain KSA's plan to be a vital enabler of a knowledge-based society and a smart digital economy.

In response to this achievement, Loluwah AlNowaiser, VP of Human Resources at Zain KSA, said: "We are happy to continue working with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. In order to empower inspiring national competencies and spur future innovation and development throughout our beloved Kingdom, Zain KSA aspires to develop national capabilities in the ICT sector as part of an integrated ecosystem of training and qualification. We stress our dedication to assisting the Kingdom's inclusive digital transformation and creating a knowledge society with distinctive national strengths as a leading national supplier of telecommunications and digital services.

In order to develop human resources and unleash the full potential of society, Zain KSA has already conducted numerous training and development initiatives through a variety of training courses and programs in the ICT industry, in line with Saudi Vision 2030. Zain KSA has started the WE program based on two main pillars: raising the proportion of female leaders in the organization and achieving true gender diversity in the workplace, especially across leadership roles, in order to empower its workforce within its working environment. Additionally, it has introduced Evolve, a program aimed at recent graduates with the express purpose of empowering Saudi young people, including men and women, and enhancing the Saudi telecoms industry with national competencies. The one-year program will give graduates effective workplace training and unparalleled chances for skill development, enabling them to enter the profession competently. The "Women in Technology" initiative also aids and directs female university students who are majoring in STEM fields.
