Riyadh, March 24, 2025 – The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has urged commercial establishments subject to value-added tax (VAT) with annual revenues exceeding SAR40 million from goods and services to submit their VAT statements for February 2025 by March 31, 2025.

ZATCA advised these establishments to submit their tax statements promptly via the zatca.gov.sa website or the ZATCA mobile app to avoid penalties ranging from 5% to 25% of the tax amount owed.

The authority also encouraged taxpayers in the commercial sector to reach out for additional information on VAT by contacting its 24/7 call center at 19993, messaging via its X account @Zatca_Care, emailing [email protected], or using the instant chat feature on its website, zatca.gov.sa.

VAT is an indirect tax applied to most goods and services purchased and sold by establishments, with certain exceptions.
