Jeddah, January 11, 2025 – The much-anticipated Hajj Conference and Exhibition is set to commence this Monday at the Jeddah Superdome, bringing together 280 exhibitors from across the globe to showcase cutting-edge services and technologies within the Hajj sector. The conference, a key event for stakeholders in the pilgrimage industry, is expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing the competitiveness of Hajj services and facilitating meaningful collaboration among service providers. This year’s event follows a significant achievement by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, which successfully concluded Hajj agreements with 80 Hajj affairs offices from around the world, marking a milestone in the preparations for the upcoming Hajj season of 1446 AH.

The conference will highlight groundbreaking projects that aim to transform the pilgrimage experience through innovation and technological advancements. These initiatives are specifically designed to streamline procedures, improve the efficiency of Hajj services, and, most importantly, enhance the overall experience for pilgrims. Among the standout features of this year’s exhibition is the introduction of the “health oasis,” a dedicated platform focused on healthcare services during the Hajj journey. This new initiative underscores the vital role that health and wellness play in ensuring the safety and comfort of pilgrims, and will serve as a space for healthcare companies and Hajj service providers to collaborate. This platform is especially timely, as new regulations now require contracts with Saudi healthcare institutions to meet the growing demands of pilgrim healthcare needs.

In addition to the health-focused initiatives, the conference will also host the Humanizing the Holy Sites Hackathon, a competitive event designed to inspire engineers, designers, and specialists to come up with innovative, sustainable solutions that enhance the pilgrim experience. The hackathon challenges participants to think creatively and develop ideas that improve services while reducing environmental impact, aligning with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals of sustainability and modernization. The event aims to humanize the experience at the holy sites, making the pilgrimage more accessible and meaningful while ensuring environmental preservation.

A key element of the conference will be a dedicated ministerial session, which will gather high-ranking officials and ministers from various government entities involved in the Hajj and Umrah sector. This session will provide a vital platform for discussing new and ongoing projects, initiatives, and services designed to enrich and facilitate the pilgrimage journey. Through these discussions, officials will highlight the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to improving Hajj services and ensuring a smooth, enriching experience for pilgrims from around the world.

The Hajj Conference and Exhibition 2025 promises to be a landmark event that not only showcases the latest innovations in the Hajj sector but also highlights Saudi Arabia’s dedication to enhancing the pilgrimage experience. With its focus on healthcare, sustainability, and technological advancements, the conference is poised to leave a lasting impact on the future of Hajj services, further cementing the Kingdom’s position as a leader in the global religious tourism sector. Through this gathering of minds, collaborations, and forward-thinking solutions, the conference will play a crucial role in shaping the future of one of the world’s largest and most significant religious events.
