Škoda has introduced its latest compact SUV model, the Kushaq, with the range-topping Kushaq Monte Carlo trim, in the Middle East. The vehicle is set to go on sale in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and the UAE in early 2024. This motorsport-inspired compact SUV, positioned at the top of the Kushaq range, is designed to attract younger buyers seeking an affordable SUV with a sporty style and a comprehensive list of equipment.
The Kushaq Monte Carlo variant, the first Škoda in the region adorned with the Monte Carlo badge, showcases a sporty design inspired by the brand's passion for motorsport and the prestigious Monte Carlo Rally. The trim features exclusive style tweaks, including new 17-inch dual-tone Vega alloy wheels, Monte Carlo badging, and glossy black elements on the radiator grille, front and rear diffusers, and door mirror casings.
Inside, the cabin of the Kushaq Monte Carlo is characterized by a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system and bespoke style elements such as dual-tone design elements in red and black. The vehicle offers ample space for five adults and a commendable 385 liters of luggage space in the boot, expandable to 1405 liters with fully folded seats.
Under the hood, the Kushaq is powered by a versatile and efficient 1.0 Turbo engine producing 85 kW (114 HP). The engine is paired with a modern 6-speed automatic transmission, delivering exceptional driveability and an impressive fuel economy figure of 16.8 km/L.
The Kushaq Monte Carlo trim includes features such as a 6-speaker sound system, smartphone connectivity and charging options, a Virtual Cockpit with a red theme, and a range of safety features like six airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, park distance control, Hill Hold Control, and a rearview camera.
